Hi there! I’m a software engineer by day and an aspiring musician, tattoo artist, writer and artist at all other times. Besides when I’m caring for my dog (Kahlo) or my cats (Stevie and Remy). I love the ocean and go surfing whenever I can. I also like to hang out with my wife Raygun (Megan) Dillard as much as possible too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Software Career<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t ever expect to be a software engineer. Somehow it found me. I started out coding artist catalogues for a graduation exhibition for my colleagues and I. Also I started expressing myself via multimedia art. I learned at this time I frighteningly had the ability to write and understand computer code. The rest is history I guess. I wouldn’t say it was a traditional entrance to computer science. Though I went on to study computer science, namely through games software engineering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spent a length of time working in the public sector in Australia before migrating to the private sector in the United States. I am currently a consultant for a private firm. Most of my days at the moment are spent coding web applications, administering databases, and juggling AWS cloud infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have always enjoyed music. Especially punk, rock and metal. I have composed many songs for different bands including Girl With Cake, Rodeo Carousel, Anu Sava, Ladyshark, Little Paws, Sarah Stop and Scout Ouch. I’ve always been an ardent DIYer to say the least with much time also put in behind the scenes to produce\/release the music, book shows etc. I spent some time performing however it’s been a little difficult to find the time lately to devote to live performances. Tattoo Artist<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I completed an apprenticeship in New York in 2019. It had been a lifelong dream of mine to be a tattoo artist however I’d never had the freedom to pursue it previously. My wife and I founded and owned Modern Love Body Arts in Mobile, Alabama from 2021-2023. We are looking to try to open another studio in California hopefully once we can save enough to do so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love to paint. I’m always trying out new techniques. I also love to draw. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
